Elephant Trainer

For the first time in a while I was able to make a fun video that was just for me! With the encouragement of some friends, some fun tools, minimal materials and a great song to work with I was able to create a short animation! Here it is:

The song "Elephant Trainer" was written by my good friend Matthew McCully . The whole album is fantastic, this song in particular captivated my imagination...this is the result. Hope you like it!

Our first encounter: staff meets up to make fun video!

Every summer for the past 4 years I have worked at a summer camp for teens that teaches them how to make videos! This year will be another great one. We have an awesome staff!

Empower: Youth Arts and Activism

I have recently been on a tour of Toronto promoting our community project Prise Positive/Positive Take. The most fun I had was giving a presentation at the manual launch for 'Empower: Youth Arts and Activism' at the University of Toronto. Its a great publication with a lot of useful and creative tools that empower and engage youth to speak out, make activist art about HIV/AIDS.

Community Video at its BEST

I have the privilege of working with a group of young filmmakers , coordinating a project called Prise Positive/Positive Take. It is an amazing experience, and everyday I see each participant grow creatively and gain so much from seeing their ideas come to life. I love my job!

Updates about the videos we produce and where to see them to come.
